What the Showcase Program actually is
Each year we select a limited number of Triad homes for a full documented roof replacement. The point is simple: put a state-of-the-art roofing system on homes that need one, and handle every step of the process so the homeowner isn't the one chasing paperwork.
Documented inspection
A detailed roof evaluation with photo documentation, paired with the recent hail and wind history for your specific address from StormTrace™.
Insurance coordination
If your roof has qualifying storm damage, our claim specialists align the scope of work with your policy and the inspection findings, and handle the back-and-forth with the carrier.
Installed by our crews
From tear-off to final inspection on a full roof replacement, backed by a lifetime workmanship warranty. No damage and no costly repairs to manage on your own.
How it works
- 1Pick your time
Choose an inspection slot on the calendar below. You'll get a confirmation text immediately.
- 2Storm & condition review
We pull recent hail and wind history for your address and pair it with a full roof inspection.
- 3Your options, in plain language
Insurance-eligible or retail, you get a clear scope and clear numbers. If your roof is fine, we tell you that instead.
- 4Installation
Scheduled, executed, and warrantied by Old Timers Roofing crews.

Straight answers
What does "qualify" actually mean?
Two things decide it: the current condition and age of your roof, and whether there's documented storm damage your policy covers. We confirm both during the inspection before anyone talks about scheduling work. More on that in our homeowner's guide to NC roof claims.
Do I have to file an insurance claim?
No. If there's no qualifying storm damage, we'll show you retail replacement options and financing instead. Filing is always your decision, not ours.
Is my deductible covered?
No. North Carolina law requires the homeowner to pay their deductible on a covered claim, and any contractor who offers to absorb it is putting you both at risk. We'll tell you your exact out-of-pocket number before work starts.
What will a new roof cost if insurance isn't involved?
It depends on size, pitch, and material. Our 2026 Triad roof replacement cost guide gives real local ranges, and the payment calculator shows monthly numbers.
What if my roof turns out to be fine?
Then we say so and you keep our documentation for your records. A roof with five good years left is worth knowing about.
What areas does this cover?
Greensboro, High Point, Winston-Salem, and the surrounding Guilford, Forsyth, Davidson, and Randolph County communities.
Know a home that needs a roof?
Our Refer & Earn program pays you for sending us someone you personally know — family, a friend, a coworker, a neighbor.
Refer & Earn
$50 on inspection. $250 total on replacement.
You get $50 once their inspection is verified and complete, and $250 total if they replace their roof with us. One payout per household, and no limit on how many people you refer.
The home needs a real reason for an inspection. A referral qualifies when at least one of these is true: shingles missing, lifted, or creased; water stains or interior moisture; granules in the gutters or heavy wear; roof age 15+ years; recent storm activity in their ZIP code; their insurer requested an inspection; or another legitimate roof concern the homeowner explains. Homes with perfect roofs and no visible issues don't qualify — that's what keeps the program fair.
Give us their full name and a direct phone or email. An address alone isn't a referral. Payouts go out by check, gift card, or digital payment within 10 business days, to homeowners inside our Triad service area.
